We've been told to prepare for all of our programming to be pre-empted from 8 AM Wednesday for up to 72 hours.

Key employees in the US federal government received texts and emails this morning around 9:30 AM, announcing CogCon-2.
The message looked like this:
COGCON 2
The Whitehouse has set Continuity of Government (CoG) Condition (Con) to Two. No Action is required by you at this time.

As an Emergency relocation group member you are reminded that should an order for Continuity of Operations
occur you must report to the Alternate Operating Facility within four hours.

The Continuity of Government Readiness Conditions (COGCON) system establishes executive branch readiness levels

For those unfamiliar with CoG, here are the basics of the system:
COGCON Levels
The Continuity of Government Readiness Conditions (COGCON) system establishes executive branch readiness levels
based on possible threats to the National Capital Region. The President alone determines and issues the COGCON Level.
COGCON 4: Federal executive branch government employees at their normal work locations.

COGCON 3: Federal agencies and departments Advance Relocation Teams “warm up” their alternate sites and capabilities,

Trump supporters, some armed, gather outside US state capitol buildings! Supporters of President Donald Trump gathered outside several state capitol buildings in various U.S. states on Sunday, some of whom were armed, but despite FBI warnings of potential violence leading up to inauguration day, most of the demonstrations remained calm with some groups leaving in various states after a few hours. Some states, however, saw no protesters at all. From Pennsylvania to Texas, Ohio to Michigan, capitol buildings saw increased security, with National Guard and military members stationed outside less than two weeks since Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6.
